Manual for the basic learning of authentic Kabbalah through the Toracle Deck.

The Italian Kabbalist, historian and philosopher Tzuriel Trevi guides us step by step through the complex world of the initiatory tradition of Kabbalah, today communicated in a contemporary key and brought back to its natural non-dualistic vocation, so that it can be appreciated and used by anyone interested in this solid, mature and coherent spiritual tradition, whatever their background.

At the heart of this work is the deck of 80 cards associated with the Book of Keys, a deck deposited at the Library of Congress in 2015, a tool that has no equivalent on the market, which he called Toracle (pronounced Tòracol), a name that is a portmanteau of “Torah”, “Tarot” and “Oracle”. This deck has been tested with real people to date, proving that it is an effective system both for learning the fundamentals of true Kabbalah, and for learning to use the deck to create a peculiar form of “tarological counseling”, to be practiced with an expert reader or even alone, as self-help to better understand the profound meaning of everyday situations.

The structure of the deck faithfully follows the setting of the short and enigmatic text of pre-Kabbalistic Jewish mysticism known as Sefer Yetzirah or “Book of the Foundation”. Its most obvious feature is that the 22 (+5) letters are divided into three clearly distinct classes. Each letter has correspondences, energies, influences and properties grouped into three categories called “Year” (dimension of the Number, that of the human spirit in and of itself), “Soul” (dimension of the Name, that of the emotions and feelings arising from the relationship between humans) and “Universe” (dimension of the Form, that of the interrelation between the human spirit and material reality in perpetual becoming). For this reason, each Hebrew letter is reproduced in three separate forms and five letters also have a fourth particular form, both graphic and initiatory.

Since every word in the Hebrew language is in reality the very thing it indicates, and every letter is also a number and vice versa, the Toracle is revealed to be superior to the Tarot in its peculiar ability to create an endless string of closely connected meanings thanks to its exclusive alphanumeric capacity linked to the roots of the biblical language and the sephirotic system of the Tree of Life. This makes the Toracle a true “Map for Life” that is capable of penetrating and revealing the secrets hidden in every aspect and field of reality.
